| This coin was encapsulated and distributed in a special cylindrical presentation case housed inside a high presentation box. It is the last in a series of six piedfort ten dollar coins issued between 1989 and 1994 displaying prominent Birds of Australia.
At the NAA Coin Fair held in Melbourne during July 1994, a limited edition issue of 1,000 piedfort wedge tailed eagle coins were sold, each accompanied by a specially numbered certificate. Valuation details of this coin fair piedfort issue are shown in the following table: |  |
