1996 6 Coin Mint Set

This set represents the annual release by the Royal Australian Mint of Australia's circulating coins. The 1996 set consists of six coins:

Five Cents,

Ten Cents,

Twenty Cents,

Fifty Cents,

Sir Henry Parkes One Dollar and

Two Dollars.

A total of 78,345 mint sets were released, the six coins being housed, sealed, in a fold-out see-both-sides, colourful presentation bubble pack and enclosed in a protective envelope.

Notes:

The 1995 Mint set pays tribute to Sir Henry parkes, regarded by most Australians as the 'Father of Federation.
