The 1991 Masterpieces in Silver set issued by the Royal Australian Mint consists of Proof Sterling Silver (.925 Fine) versions of all 8 of Australia's base metal circulation coins, together with a silver ingot stamped with the Australian Coat of Arms and the issue number of the set.

The sets marks the farewell of the One and Two Cent coins which, while remaining legal tender, have not been minted since and have been replaced in cash commerce by rounding to the nearest five cents.
