1989 8 Coin Proof Set

This set represents the annual release by the Royal Australian Mint of proof versions of Australia's circulating coins. The 1989 set consists of eight coins:
  • One Cent,
  • Two Cents,
  • Five Cents,
  • Ten Cents,
  • Twenty Cents,
  • Fifty Cents,
  • One Dollar and
  • Two Dollars. A total of 70,018 proof sets were released, the eight coins being housed, sealed in a see-both-sides hard plastic case and presented in a special leatherette protective wallet and a colourful presentation box.
