1988 4 Coin Gold Proof Set Famous Ingot Theme III

This set represents the annual release by the Perth Mint of proof versions of Australia's bullion gold coins. The 1988 4 coin set comprises:
  • $100 - One Ounce,
  • $50 - Half Ounce,
  • $25 - Quarter Ounce and
  • $15 - Tenth Ounce The 9,000 mintage limit for the 1988 4 coin gold proof set was not reached with a total of only 8,180 sets actually released. The coins in the set are housed, individually encapsulated, in a hinged lid jarrah presentation case.
