2000 1oz Silver Koala Medallion

This privately issued Koala medallion is part of a set of 6 medallions, collectively known as the millennium collection, depicting Australia's most recognised native animals. The other five medallions are the Saltwater Crocodile, Kangaroo, Frill-Necked Lizard, Fairy (Little) Penguin and Platupus. Limited to a mintage of 2,000, the medallion is struck in .999 fine silver to proof-like specifications with frosted designs and mirror fields similar to proof coin issues.
