Notes:
Mintage figures for the 1918 Perth Mint half sovereign is not known but it is estimated that between 200 and 300 pieces survived. Mint records show that no half sovereigns were struck in 1818 although records in the next two years show that half sovereigns were struck in Perth but never issued. It is possible that half sovereigns were struck in 1919 and 1920 using 1918 dies with the majority of the coins struck being re-melted before release into circulation.
