This set contains proof versions of New Zealand dollar coins struck to mark the XIV Commonwealth Games Held in Auckland. The set consists of four coins:
Auckland Commonwealth Games Silver Dollar - Runner,
Auckland Commonwealth Games Silver Dollar - Gymnast,
Auckland Commonwealth Games Silver Dollar - Swimmer, and Auckland Commonwealth Games Silver Dollar - Weightlifter.
A total of 8,600 sets were released with the coins sealed in a hard plastic case.
