Notes:

The reverse design of this coin shows a fully kitted 1915 New Zealand infantry soldier in front of a flowing New Zealand flag. Soldiers such as the one depicted on this coin typify the resourceful, enterprising and courageous Anzacs.

A total of 33,752 New Zealand 1990 ANZAC Five Dollar proof coins were released in a joint venture with Australia. Together with a 1990 ANZAC Australian Five Dollar proof coin, the pair were sold in a 75th ANZAC Anniversary package for $75. Valuation of the packaged pair is shown below:
