Notes:

Since 1992, the Perth Mint has issued two ounce bullion gold and two ounce bullion platinum two hundred dollar denominated coins. See the separate entries for these issues.

The mintage figures for the first years show just how successful this series was when first released. The coins were popular with investors while gold prices were high as the gold content, plus a legal tender value of $200 meant that risk was limited. As gold prices fell in later years, so the interest in the series fell, as can be seen by the rapidly diminishing mintage figures. Many of the early issues are now simply cashed in at face value at the bank. The series was finally abandoned in 1994 and replaced by the highly successful Floral Emblem $100 and $150 series.
