1990 Platypus Two Hundred Dollars
This coin was not intended for circulation. It is the second in a series of six two hundred dollar coins issued between 1989 and 1994 displaying significant Australian native animals.
The proof version was encapsulated and distributed in a hinged lid presentation case while the uncirculated, speciman coin was released sealed on a large presentation card housed inside a protective envelope.
