Notes:
This coin was included as part of a 6 coin proof set and a 6 coin mint set released by the Canberra mint.In 1990, with a continuing lack of demand for circulating coinage, almost the entire mintage of 1984 20 cent coins were melted and exported as base metal cupro-nickel bars. Only a single box of 50 mint rolls (1,000 coins) is known to have been released.
