Notes:

Until 1944, threepences were minted in .925 fine silver. From 1947 onwards, the silver content was reduced to .500 fine.

For the years 1937 to 1948, the obverse legend was: GEORGIVS VI: D: G: BR: OMN: REX F: D: IND: IMP. This was changed to: GEORGIVS VI D: G: BR: OMN: REX FIDEI DEF. from 1949 to 1952.
