| This proof coin was encapsulated and distributed in a special plush presentation booklet housed inside a slimline presentation box. It is the second in a series of six ten dollar coins issued between 1989 and 1994 displaying prominent Birds of Australia. At the International Coin Fair held in Melbourne during August 1990, a limited edition issue of 2,000 standard white cockatoo proof coins were sold, each accompanied by a specially numbered certificate.
