Notes:
To celebrate a century of gold production, 1899 'P' sovereigns were included in 255 100 Year Gold Heritage sets released by the Perth Mint in 1999.
As a heritage project for its centenary in 1999, the Perth Mint undertook a world-wide search for 'exceptional' quality examples of this coin. The result was the compilation of 70 complete 33-Sovereign 'P' mintmarked sets.
The Perth Mint commemorated the production of the 1899 sovereign by releasing a 2 ounce bullion silver coin and medallion pair in 1999.
