Notes:

Identical dies were used in Melbourne and Sydney. The issuing mint for a particular 1925 shilling cannot be determined. The date on all 1925 shillings shows evidence of a re-engraved 1923 die. The likely explanation is that 1923 dies were prepared but not used due to an oversupply caused by the large numbers of shillings struck in 1922. New dies had also been prepared for 1924 so the first opportunity to utilise the unused 1923 dies came in 1925. The re-engraving was obviously not a perfect job.
