This set represents the annual release by the Perth Mint of proof versions of Australia's bullion silver coins. The 2001 3 coin set comprises:
  • $10 - Ten Ounce Colour,
  • $2 - Two Ounce and
  • $1 - One Ounce.
    • The 400 mintage limit for the 2001 3 coin Kookaburra over Map silver proof set was fully subscribed. The set was issued with each coin individually encapsulated and housed in a special terra-cotta coloured, hinged-lid presentation case and accompanied by a serial numbered certificate of authenticity.
