The design on the reverse of each coin features a young, spirited horse in a canter. The Chinese believe that the horse is associated with energy and is a sign of happiness, confidence and success. They believe that people born in the year of the horse (1918, 1930, 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990 or 2002) are typically cheerful, skilful, perceptive, popular, talkative, confident and intelligent individuals who love their freedom and manage their money well.
Limited to a release of 3,000 sets, the coins are housed, individually encapsulated, in a hinged lid jarrah presentation case.
