2000  6 Coin Proof Set

This set represents the annual release by the Royal Australian Mint of proof versions of Australia's circulating coins. The 2000 set consists of six coins:
  • Five Cents,
  • Ten Cents,
  • Twenty Cents,
  • Colour Millennium Year Fifty Cents,
  • Dollar and
  • Two Dollars.
    The six coins were housed, sealed in a see-both-sides hard plastic case and presented in a special leatherette protective wallet and a colourful presentation box.

    Notes:

    The colour used for Australian flag in the reverse design of the fifty cent piece was restricted to the proof version only.
