1996 4 Coin 1oz Mixed Metal Proof Set
The Perth Mint releases a proof set each year containing proof versions of all four of Australia's One Ounce bullion collector coins. The 1996 4 coin set comprises:
  • $100 - Gold One Ounce Bounding Kangaroo,
  • $100 - Platinum One Ounce Two Koalas,
  • $1 - Silver One Ounce Kookaburra & Chick and
  • $40 - Palladium One Ounce Emu with Chicks. The 100 mintage limit for the 1996 4 coin 1oz Mixed Metal proof set was fully subscribed. The coins in the set are housed, individually encapsulated, in a jarrah presentation case.
