1996 3 Coin Gold Proof Set Kangaroo Prospector Privy

The Perth Mint released a 3 coin Prospector Privy gold proof set in 1996. The set comprises:
  • $50 - Prospector Privy Half Ounce,
  • $25 - Prospector Privy Quarter Ounce and
  • $15 - Prospector Privy Tenth Ounce.
    Minage was limited to 400 sets. The coins in the set are housed, individually encapsulated, in a burgandy leather box and accompanied by a certificate and a one ounce gold plated silver medallion featuring a prospector in the design on one side and the Perth Mint's seal on the other.
