1996  3 Coin Gold Proof Set Lunar Year of the Mouse

The Perth Mint released a 3 coin Lunar Year of the Mouse gold proof set in 1996. The set comprises:
  • $100 - Lunar Year of the Mouse One Ounce,
  • $25 - Lunar Year of the Mouse Quarter Ounce and
  • $15 - Lunar Year of the Mouse Tenth Ounce. The mintage limited of 3,888 sets was not fully subscribed - a total of 2807 sets were sold. The coins in the set are housed, individually encapsulated, in a jarrah presentation block.
