1996 6 Coin 'Gumnut' Baby Proof Set

This proof set contains proof versions of Australia's six circulating coins:
  • Five Cents,
  • Ten Cents,
  • Twenty Cents,
  • Fifty Cents,
  • Sir Henry Parkes One Dollar and
  • Two Dollars.
    Also included is an 'Antique Finish', Sterling Silver (92.5%), Gumnut medallion with a diameter of 45 mm, a thickness of 3 mm and a weight of 43 grams. One side of the medallion is blank to enable a child's name to be engraved.

    A total of 3,985 gumnut proof sets were released, the six coins being housed, individually encapsulated, in a plush green leatherette, hinged lid presentation case and a colourful presentation box.
