1996 6 Coin 'Gumnut' Baby Mint Set

This set is designed specifically to be given as a gift upon the birth of a child. The set consists of Australia's six circulating coins:
  • Five Cents,
  • Ten Cents,
  • Twenty Cents,
  • Fifty Cents,
  • Sir Henry Parkes One Dollar and
  • Two Dollars.
    Also included is a blank bronze medallion to enable a child's name to be engraved.

    A total of 25,727 1996 'Gumnut' baby mint sets were released in two versions, the six coins being housed, sealed in a fold-out see-both-sides, colourful presentation bubble pack and enclosed in a protective envelope. The first version has large printing on the cover and no bar code.
