1996 5 Coin Platinum Proof Set Two Koalas
This set represents the annual release by the Perth Mint of proof versions of Australia's bullion platinum coins. The 1996 5 coin set comprises:
  • $100 - One Ounce,
  • $50 - Half Ounce,
  • $25 - Quarter Ounce,
  • $15 - Tenth Ounce and
  • $5 - Twentieth Ounce. The 200 mintage limit for the 1996 5 coin platinum proof set was not fully subscribed - a total of 111 sets were sold. The coins in the set are housed, individually encapsulated, in a sliding-lid, jarrah presentation box accompanied by a specially struck medallion.
