1996  3 Coin 1oz Mixed Metal Proof Set

This set continues the annual release by the Perth Mint of proof versions of Australia's One Ounce Gold, Platinum and Silver bullion collector coins. The 1996 3 coin set comprises:
  • $100 - Gold One Ounce Bounding Kangaroo,
  • $100 - Platinum One Ounce Two Koalas and
  • $1 - Silver One Ounce Kookaburra & Chick. The 150 mintage limit for the 1996 3 coin 1oz Mixed Metal proof set was fully subscribed. The coins in the set are housed, individually encapsulated, in a jarrah presentation case.
