1995 - 2003 One Hundred Dollar Floral Emblems of Australia Series


The Floral Emblems of Australia Series consisting of nine One Hundred Dollar gold coins is being released in both .999 fine Proof and .916 fine (22 carat) Specimen grade, one coin per year, by the Royal Australian Mint over the eight years from 1995 to 2003.

The reverse designs of the coins released so far depict:

  • 1995 New South Wales Waratah,
  • 1996 Tasmanian Blue Gum,
  • 1997 Western Australia's Mangles' Kangaroo Paw,
  • 1998 South Australia's Sturt Desert Pea,
  • 1999 Victoria's Common Heath, and
  • 2000 Queensland's Coooktown Orchid.
  • Mintage is limited to 2,500 Proof and 3,000 Speciman $150 gold coins in each of the nine years that the series will run.
