1995 - 2003 One Hundred & Fifty Dollar Floral Emblems of Australia Series


The Floral Emblems of Australia Series consisting of nine One Hundred & Fifty Dollar .999 fine proof gold coins is being released, one coin per year, by the Royal Australian Mint over the eight years from 1995 to 2003.

The reverse designs of the coins released so far depict:

  • 1995 New South Wales Waratah,
  • 1996 Tasmanian Blue Gum,
  • 1997 Western Australia's Mangles' Kangaroo Paw,
  • 1998 South Australia's Sturt Desert Pea,
  • 1998 Victoria's Common Heathand
  • 2000 Queensland's Cooktown Orchid.
  • Mintage is limited to 1,500 Proof $150 gold coins in each of the nine years that the series will run.
