 
This set represents the annual release by the Royal Australian Mint of proof versions of Australia's circulating coins. The 1990 set consists of eight coins:

One Cent,

Two Cents,

Five Cents,

Ten Cents,
-
Twenty Cents,
-
Fifty Cents,
-
One Dollar and
-
Two Dollars.
A total of 51,723 proof sets were released, the eight coins being housed, sealed in a see-both-sides hard plastic case and presented in a special leatherette protective wallet and a colourful presentation box.
