1990-99 $5/$1 Kookaburra 1 Ounce Set
This unofficial set, consisting of ten Specimen Silver one ounce coins and the Perth Mint Centenary Medallion was compiled and released in 1999 to commemorate 10 years of the Kookaburra design appearing on Australian Silver bullion issues. Each coin and the medal in the set is individually encapsulated and housed in a black leatherette presentation case

 
The reverse designs of the 10 coins depict:
  • 1990 $5 - Kookaburra on Tree Stump,
  • 1991 $5 - Kookaburra near Tree Trunk,
  • 1992 $1 - Kookaburra on Tree Branch,
  • 1993 $1 - Kookaburra Feeding Nestling,
  • 1994 $1 - Two Kookaburras,
  • 1995 $1 - Kookaburra on Tree Branch,
  • 1996 $1 - Kookaburra in Flight,
  • 1997 $1 - Kookaburra & Chick,
  • 1998 $1 - Kookaburra on Fence,
  • 1999 $1 - Two Kookaburras, and
  • 1999 Perth Mint Centenary Medallion .
    • The issue was restricted to a limit of 1,000 sets.
