1990 5 Coin Platinum Proof Set Koala on Tree Trunk
This set represents the annual release by the Perth Mint of proof versions of Australia's bullion platinum coins. The 1990 5 coin set comprises:
  • $100 - One Ounce,
  • $50 - Half Ounce,
  • $25 - Quarter Ounce,
  • $15 - Tenth Ounce and
  • $5 - Twentieth Ounce. The 2,500 mintage limit for the 1990 5 coin platinum proof set was not reached with a total of only 968 sets actually released. The coins in the set are housed, individually encapsulated, in a jarrah presentation case.
