1985 7 Coin Mint Set

This set represents the annual release by the Royal Australian Mint of Australia's circulating coins. The 1985 set consists of seven coins:
  • One Cent,
  • Two Cents,
  • Five Cents,
  • Ten Cents,
  • Twenty Cents,
  • Fifty Cents and
  • One Dollar.
    A total of 170,000 mint sets were released, the seven coins being housed, sealed in a fold-out see-both-sides, colourful presentation bubble pack and enclosed in a protective envelope.

    Notes:

    In a large proportion of 1985 Mint Sets, the clear plastic used to house the coins has toned to a golden yellow colour, making the coins difficult to see and significantly reducing the value.
