1981 Unofficial 7 Coin Royal Wedding Mint Set

This set is an unofficial private release comprised of uncirculated coins taken from Royal Australian Mint rolls of Australia's circulating coins. The set consists of seven coins:
  • One Cent,
  • Two Cents,
  • Five Cents,
  • Ten Cents,
  • Twenty Cents,
  • Fifty Cents - Coat of Arms and
  • Fifty Cents - Royal Wedding. The seven coins are housed, sealed in a fold-out see-both-sides, colourful presentation bubble pack and enclosed in a protective envelope. The set was issued for two reasons - firstly to incorporate the Royal Wedding Fifty Cent coin which was not included in official mint sets, and secondly, to provide sealed packaging consistent with the official mint issues from 1985 onwards.
