2000 1oz Silver Fairy (Little) Penguin Medallion

This privately issued fairy (little) penguin medallion is part of a set of 6 medallions, collectively known as the millennium collection, depicting Australia's most recognised native animals. The other five medallions are the Koala, Saltwater Crocodile, Kangaroo, Frill-Necked Lizard and Platupus. Mintage was limited to 2,000 medallions struck in .999 fine silver to proof specifications with frosted designs and mirror fields similar to proof coin issues.
