Serial number appears twice above and once below the supescription.
The National Bank of Australasia supplied 57,500 pound note forms to the Australian Government in 1911. In the ensuing 2 years, an additional 2,250,000 note forms were obtained direct from the bank's printers, Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co., London. The bulk of the later notes had a bank serial number prefix of either S (at top) or Z (at left).
