The Australian Bank of Commerce Limited supplied 26,500 one pound note forms to the Australian Government in 1911. A further 50,000, with serial numbers between A 150001 A and A 200000 A were ordered by the Treasury direct from the bank's printers, Perkins Bacon and Co., of London.
