In 1999 Note Printing Australia continued the practiced established the previous year of releasing five-note sets in a Deluxe booklet. The number of deluxe sets issued was reduced from 2,000 to 1,200.

The serial number of each note in each set matched. Numbers range from AA99 001001 to 002200.
