In 1998 Note Printing Australia released 2,000 five-note sets in a Deluxe booklet. This single release replaced the individual denomination deluxe issues of previous years.

The serial number of each note in each set matched. Numbers range from AA98 001001 to 003000.

The 5 polymer notes in the set are:

1998 Macfarlane/Evans AA98 Black Serial Five Dollars,
1998 Macfarlane/Evans AA98 Blue Serial Ten Dollars,
1998 Macfarlane/Evans AA98 Black Serial Twenty Dollars,
1998 Macfarlane/Evans AA98 Black Serial Fifty Dollars, and

1998 Macfarlane/Evans AA98 Black Serial One Hundred Dollars.
