1998 $20 Uncut Premium Block of 4 Polymer Notes Red Serials

A total of 400 Premium Blocks of 4 Notes with Red serial numbers were released by Note Printing Australia in 1998. Each note on the sheet is a Macfarlane/Evans Polymer $20 Note (Red Serials).

The notes in the block have serial number prefixes ranging from AA 98 to DA 98. The six digits in the serial number of each note match - in the range from 010001 to 010050.

These valuations are for blocks cut from the centre of a full sheet. Blocks featuring a top or bottom 'selvedge' command a small premium.

A further 800 Blocks of 4 with Black Serials, 400 Vertical Pairs with Red Serials and 800 Vertical Pairs with Black Serials were released by Note Printing Australia.

There are significant premiums on low numbered sets. The following table provides an estimate of the value of set number 001 which raised $340 for charity at auction when it was first released.
