To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the release of Australia's $5 decimal banknote, Note Printing Australia issued 1,000 'Famous Fives' $5 Note Trios in Premium Folders.
The notes in each set are:

1991 Fraser/Cole - QPG Last Prefix $5 Paper,

1993-94 Fraser/Evans - EA93 Last Prefix $5 Polymer, and
-
1995 Fraser/Evans AA95 First Prefix Recoloured $5 Polymer.
Each note in the set is overprinted in red with the first date of issue of that note type. In order of the above notes, the overprint dates were 29 May 1967, 7 July 1992 and 24 April 1995. The trio is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.

A further 1,500 trios in Deluxe Folders were released by Note Printing Australia. The overprint on these notes was printed in black.
There are significant premiums on low numbered trios. The following table provides an estimate of the value of the first trio which raised $650 for charity when it was initially offered for sale.
