1996 $5 Uncut Pairs - Red Serials


A total of 1,000 Pairs with Red serial numbers were released by Note Printing Australia in 1996. Each note on the sheet is a Fraser/Evans Polymer $5 Note (Red Serials).

The pairs were cut from normal production sheets with serial prefixes of BA 96 to EA 96.

These valuations are for pairs cut from the centre of a full sheet. Pairs featuring a top or bottom 'selvedge' command a small premium.

There are significant premiums on low numbered pairs. The following table provides an estimate of the value of the first Pair with number 001 which raised $1,000 for charity when it was initially offered for sale.
