1996 'Signatures' $5 Note Pair Deluxe Folder

To celebrate the change in note signatories from Fraser/Evans to Macfarlane/Evans, Note Printing Australia issued 'Signatures' $5 Note Pairs in Deluxe Folders.

The notes in the set are:

  • 1996 Fraser/Evans - FE 96 Prefix $5 Polymer, and

  • 1996 Fraser/Macfarlane ME 96 Prefix $5 Polymer. A total of 1,500 sets were offered for sale. The serial numbers were printed in red and the digits after the prefix on each note in the set were matched.

    Notes:

    A further 1,000 pairs in Premium Folders were released by Note Printing Australia. The digits after the serial number prefix of these notes ranged from 000001 to 001000.
