1992 $5 Uncut Paper Note Block of 4 25th Anniversary 1967-1992 Overprint


A total of 1,500 Blocks of 4 were released by Note Printing Australia at the Sydney Coin Fair in 1992. Each note in the pair is a Fraser/Cole Paper $5 Note with XXV Prefix Serial Number. One of the four notes in the block is overprinted with the lettering '25th Anniversary 1967-1992' to commemorate the original release of the $5 banknote, one year after the change-over to decimal currency in Australia.

Notes:

These valuations are for blocks cut from the centre of a full sheet. Blocks featuring a top or bottom 'selvedge' command a small premium.

A further 500 Blocks of 4 without Overprint were issued through Note Printing Australia's mailing list.

3,000 Horizontal Pairs with Overprint, 1,000 Horizontal Pairs without Overprint 1,500 Vertical Pairs with Overprint, and 500 Vertical Pairs without Overprint were also released by Note Printing Australia.
