Notes:

These uncut blocks were the first to be released in Australia. With no previous market experience by which to value the issue, there was considerable pricing volatility in the first couple of years. By 1990, the blocks were being sold for prices upwards of $500. The decision by Note Printing Australia to release new uncut note products in subsequent years has resulted in a significant fall in the valuation of this first uncut note issue.

These valuations are for blocks cut from the centre of a full sheet. Blocks featuring a top or bottom 'selvedge' command a small premium.

A further 500 Full Sheets of 24 notes, 1,000 Half Sheets of 12 notes and 1,500 Strips of 4 notes were released by the Reserve Bank.
