1995 Waltzing Matilda Centenary $10 Note & $10 Phonecard Premium Portfolio

To celebrate the centenary of 'Waltzing Matilda', written by A.B. (Banjo) Paterson in 1895, Note Printing Australia and Telstra (then Telecom) jointly issued a Premium Portfolio featuring a WM 95 Prefix, Red Serials $10 polymer note and a specially produced $10 phonecard.

A total of 1,000 Premium portfolio's were sold. The $10 note in the portfolio has a serial number printed in red with the special prefix of WM and a number in the range 000001 to 001000.

Notes:

There are significant premiums on low numbered sets. The following table provides an estimate of the value of the first Premium Portfolio with serial number WM 000001 which raised $2,300 for charity when it was initially offered for sale .
