Notes:
Thomas Lempriere, co-founder of the company, was one of the founders of the Bank of Van Diemen's Land. The Lempriere - Weavell partmership was dissolved when John Weavell left the colony in 1823. Lempriere continued to issue prommissory notes under his own company name - Lempriere & Co - until he became insolvent on 24 April, 1824.
