Notes:

Thomas Lempriere used the promissory note forms from his previous partnership with John Weavell after the partnership was dissolved. Weavell's name was cancelled on the notes until a slightly modified form was obtained for the new company. The forms provided for the denomination in Spanish Dollars to be entered at the time the note was issued.
