Issued by a prominent merchant of the time, John Hutchison, his name is mis-spelt on the note as Hutchinson.
| The note has a denomination neatly placed at half the Holey dollar (5 shillings) and double the Dump (1s. 3d. - 15 pence) which were struck at around the same time. The example at right was issued on 26th March, 1813 while the note shown above is dated one day later, 27th March, 1813. |  |
