Notes:

Fraser/Evans EA 95 Prefix $5 Banknotes were not issued individually. They were included as part of a First & Last $5 Recoloured Note Portfolio issued by Note Printing Australia. The notes had a serial number, printed in red in the range EA 95 500101 to 501000.

The new, more brightly coloured version of the polymer $5 note was designed to make it easier to differentiate it from the similarly coloured $10 note. The denomination numeral '5' was bolded and it's font simplified. In an effort to assist in the sorting of large stacks of notes, orientation bands were printed at the top and bottom.
