900 notes with serial numbers in the range EA 93 500101 to 501000 were included as part of a First & Last $5 Recoloured Note Portfolio issued by Note Printing Australia.
In 1997, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the release of Australia's $5 decimal banknote, Note Printing Australia included this note in 1,000 'Famous Fives' Premium $5 Note Trios and 1,500 'Famous Fives' Deluxe $5 Note Trios. The note was overprinted in red in the premium folder, and in black in the deluxe folder, with the original date of issue for the series - 7 July 1992.
